It’s been an incredible week of news, foreign and domestic, and we’ll talk about much of it on this week’s edition of Backbone Radio.

In the 5 PM hour, we’ll be joined by Colorado-based pollster and political analyst Floyd Ciruli to discuss the Republican field and what the incredibly-shrinking President Obama will likely resort to in order to win reelection. (Can you say “class warfare"?)

In the 6 PM hour, we’ll cover the Jefferson County School Board election. It might sound hyper-local, but this is the biggest school district in Colorado and they are failing, both financially and educationally, because the teachers’ union dominates all decision making.

From 6 PM to 6:30 PM, we’ll speak with Preston Branaugh and Jim Powers, “The Dads", who are running for the School Board, opposing the union-owned and perhaps illegally school district-backed candidates.

And from 6:35 to 7:0 PM, we’ll be joined by current JeffCo School Board member Laura Boggs and former member Steve Dixon who will tell us a few things about what is at least an appearance of corruption and conflict of interest among those who are supporting the union-backed candidates.

And in the 7 PM hour, we’ll have as our in-studio guest State Senator Greg Brophy. We’ll talk about the changes in the State Senate GOP leadership as well as the weakness displayed by our governor and mayor when it comes to the Occupy Denver trespassers.

Please join me by listening to (and calling in to) this week’s Backbone Radio program from 5 PM to 8 PM on 710 AM KNUS in Denver and 1460 AM KZNT in Colorado Springs.
