The Autumn 2005 edition of City Journal is the single best issue of any magazine that I can recall in many years.

From your story on Mexican Diplomats to Eminent Domain abuse to Islam in the US and England, each article was insightful, timely, and enjoyable. There were few wasted words or uninteresting pages, and even your selection of images was exceptionally well-done.
