Australian newspapers as bad as US on "climate change" reporting

Your article about the ADF “warning of climate conflict” represents everything that is wrong with mainstream media coverage of “climate change.” Why is a story filled with “may” and “a risk of” and “could” presented as news rather than opinion?

The reporters quote James Hansen (whose name was misspelled in the article), a well-known climate alarmist who recently proclaimed last October the hottest on record…because his group plugged September data into their model.

The reporters failed to mention that the planet has been cooling for a decade, that during prior years when the planet was slightly warming there was no significant increase in sea levels nor negative impact on agriculture, and that global sea ice is back up to 1979 levels and Arctic sea ice made its largest-ever recovery in 2008.

Man-made “global warming” is a hoax. It is used by anti-capitalists and environmentalists and scientists seeking grants to claim “the sky is falling so we need more of your money.” It’s sad to see the ADF use Al Gore’s tactics to pad their budget.

When you see articles full of unbelievable theories combined with suggestions that Australia destroy one of its primary industries, it’s time to start demanding proof – of scientists, politicians, and reporters alike – that man-made “climate change” is anything but a myth, and a dangerous one at that.
