My friend Don Boudreaux, Chairman of the Economics Department of George Mason University, has an interesting piece followed by some very interesting Q&A over at the Fraser Institute web site on the subject of free trade.

Although economics experts might find Don’s discussion to be somewhat basic, I think it’s quite an effective discussion for the average reader. And, as I implied above, the questions and answers after the initial article are particularly good.
