In a stunning example of political ego, the mayor of North Hills, NY, a small and very wealthy town on Long Island, is discussing the possibility of trying to take the Deepdale Golf Club, one of the nation's finest, through eminent domain.

If North Hills has the ability to recall the mayor, I hope they do it.

Even more so, I hope that another Kelo-like case is accepted by the Supreme Court and that Anthony Kennedy realizes the truly historic error he made, allowing the court to right one of the worst wrongs it's ever made.

If it were my private golf club and they seized it, then the day before title passed I would bring in 18 trucks (one for each hole) filled with cow manure and have at it.

Or maybe 18 tanker trucks filled with water, drown the place and then petition the EPA to declare it a protected wetland.
