Fresh Air Fund seeking hosts for disadvantaged kids in the Northeast in August
To any of my readers in the Northeast who might be interested:
The Fresh Air Fund provides "free summer vacations to New York City children from disadvantaged communities since 1877."
They just let me know that they still have 200 children who need to be placed with host families for this August.
Although I haven't been involved with the project, since I don't live where they operate, it seems like a most worthwhile endeavor to me and I hope that any of you who live in the states listed below will consider participating.
