Global warming indeed

Of course anecdotes are not data, but at some point a sufficient accumulation of anecdotes should start to make an impact even on the dense brains of "global warming" alarmists. Here are two from this past week.

First, an icebreaker gets stuck in thick Arctic ice...the same ice the alarmists said has disappeared:

Second, for you die-hard skiers, Aspen Mountain is re-opening for this weekend, yes that's JUNE 13-15.

Putting the 491-page climate change bill out in front of the people was a bad move for the dems. Of course in the form that it was presented, there was no chance of passage, but it did give the people an idea of how expensive and bureaucracy-intensive climate change legislation would be.

Of course it would be much simpler (and much less dishonest) to just add a tax to carbon-produced electricity and gasoline, but even the dems know that there is no political mandate for such a tax - especially considering what we are now paying for energy services.

Much better to just promise to do something by 2050 and let future pols tackle the alleged problem!
