"Global Warming" update
Slowly but surely, in most places except centers of government and the dominant liberal media, the hoax of man-made global warming, now called "climate change" because the planet is cooling, is being laid open for all to view.
Here are a few recent articles on issues surrounding the topic, discussing both politics and science:
1) Even the liberal Huffington Post now has articles which directly call Al Gore a liar. Here's a great example:
see "Mr. Gore: Apology Accepted", by Harold Ambler, 1/3/009

2) A new study says that glacier retreat in Greenland "can't be maintained for very long." The study debunks a prior theory that a warmer climate essentially "lubricates" glaciers, causing them to slide into the ocean. Instead, the study's author says that glaciers "adjust very quickly to the new temperature or climate setting."
see "Greenland’s Rapid Glacier Retreat May Stall, Scientists Say", Bloomberg News, 1/12/09

3) A new study suggests that a major factor in the planet's climate is the earth's magnetic field. The study tends to corroborate a decade-old hypothesis that "the climate was highly influenced by galactic cosmic ray (GCR) particles penetrating the earth's atmosphere."

4) As I said, it's only governments which are still buying the Algore hoax. For example, the city of Madison, Wisconsin is having a discussion at their city council to include the idea that "Zoning should adapt to meet the demands of climate change", using such incredible scare tactics in their meeting agenda as saying the zoning code should be written "to allow the city to function when automobile travel will be severely limited and oil-related products, including food and heating fuel, become prohibitively expensive because of the scarcity and high-cost of fuel." We know that Madison is insane, in the same way that Berkeley, CA and Boulder, CO are. As Business and Media points out, other attacks on personal and economic liberty are proposed:
* Limit waterfront development in the name of water sustainability,
* Require two trees to be planted if one is removed from your property
* Limit the “number/density of fast food outlets and drive-through windows” in the name of public health
* Discourage individual parking options to promote public transportation usage
5) After the fastest-ever Arctic sea ice growth in October, 2008, the Arctic sea ice extent continues its rapid recovery from a 2007 low. As of today, there was more ice for the same day of the year (1/14) than any year since 2003, and the level is well above the average level for the date since 2002. How long until the World Wildlife Fund begins to raise money to help polar bears who are too cold?
