Harry Reid's videotaped hypocrisy

In a remarkably prescient advance reminder of his hypocrisy, Harry Reid stood on the floor of the Senate to complain about the use of a “Manager’s Amendment” to cram multiple issues into a piece of legislation that “no one can see.”
He also extolls the virtues of using a conference committee, noting that “at least we have a group of Senators…in the process” as opposed to just one or two people deciding what’s going to be in a bill.
Reid’s statement should be read back to him every day during the ongoing process of shoving health care “reform” down the throats of unwilling Americans: “Of course, the Manager’s Amendment, no one can see it. The Manager’s Amendment is composed of over 40 amendments. How could anyone vote for a piece of legislation like that?”
