John Kerry sticks his foot in it again
Update: After hearing Kerry's explanation that it was a botched joke, and that he meant to say that President Bush didn't make the most of his education and therefore "got us stuck" in Iraq, I actually believe Kerry that that's what he intended to say. But he's such a mental lightweight that yet again he has made a fool of himself and given the GOP some high-caliber political ammunition. It's quite funny that Kerry was going to make fun of George W. Bush who 1) beat Kerry, and 2) got better grades than Kerry at the same university.
If you didn't see Kerry's gift to the GOP, you can see it here:

In typical John Kerry fashion, he's once again demonstrated his disdain for the US military and in a way which must be making Democratic political strategists cringe.
I'm not going to remember the words exactly correctly, but yesterday Kerry said something along the lines of "Education...if you make the most of it and study hard and do your homework...you can do well. If you don't you get stuck in Iraq."
And then in typical "I voted for it before I voted against it fashion", Kerry said he was talking about President Bush, not the troops.
Riiiiiight. John McCain is saying that Kerry owes the troops an apology.
And, Mr. Kerry if it's a bad education that gets you stuck in a war zone, what does that say about you and your C-average at Yale followed by your apparent inability to know even what country you were stationed in?
It is idiots like John Kerry who give Republicans hope that maybe all is not lost.

John Kerry really needs to say what he means and mean what he says...
... he's starting to sound like John McCain, whose against torture and wants to protect our soldiers against Geneva Convention violations... but voted for the Military Commissions Act, which allows for the detainees to be abused up to the point just before they sustain “serious mental and physical trauma." I guess McCain is ok with our troops being abused until they sustain the same.
