while Rep. Bachman is often labeled a kook, she has hit the nail on the head on this issue. One must ask, When the administration took over GM, in part to reduce dealerships, how are they legally able to completely bypass stock holders and dealers holding long term contracts? They do it by using the bankruptcy code to take over a corporation for the purpose of establishing national policy in the area of economics. This is not what congress envisioned when they passed bankruptcy laws, or amended them. The aspect of assisting dealers with the right connections is contrary to what the President implied, but the scheme does allow for "favorable" results for a select few. This movement toward nationalizing industries or parts of them must be stopped if we are to maintain a free market economy and avoid becoming a socialist country. Go Michelle!

It is true that none of the "proposed" bills in congress; i.e. [HR 3200] which contains over 1,000 pages and is posted on the House of Representatives website, has been passed by the whole congress. But it is posted there for everyone to read and understand. Granted it is difficult to understand because it is written in legal speak, but there are several summaries also posted in plain English to read with references to page and line numbers of the things that supposedly aren't there.. The president either hasn't read it, or is just ignorant or he wouldn't be constantly talking about what is not in it when we can read for ourselves that it is in it. There are other versions floating around in the house and senate that are still in committees but all have the "public" option which (as written) is designed to drive insurance companies out of the market so that he can achieve his stated* goal of the government taking everything over.

These written proposals which congress and obviously the president have not read, and since they are available for everyone to read via the Internet. What the people are angry about is what these proposals actually say. To say that there is no proposals is a cop out. They exist, and since congress doesn't seem to know what is in them when pinned down, we must assume that congress has NOT written them! I understand that they have been put together with the help of Obama's "community organizers" and SEIU union. Several ideas that Obama claims is not in the bills come from president Obama's (White House chief of staff) Rom Emanuel's brother who is advising the government on this issue. He is the same one that thinks old people should not be taken care of because they only have a short time to live anyway. Obama himself said at a town hall that elderly should take a pain pill instead of getting major health care. Where do you suppose he he got that idea??

People who blindly put their faith in this president are fools, because all this is out there in plain sight. They have to open their eyes before it is too late. He has told them the truth, they are not listening to him going on that blind faith instead. We have plenty of evidence of how his brand of healthcare works. Canada; UK; France; to name a few are all rationing care to everyone in those countries. Single payer options do not work! We can fix what we have without letting the government take it over. READ "Saving Money and Saving Lives" by Newt Gingrich and you will understand how this is possible.

Lory, if you get Fox Cable News, I would suggest that you watch Glen Beck, especially this week, because he is doing a good job of explaining what is really going on with this administration. He has been investigating for weeks and has information that everyone needs to know and understand. The TV program comes on here at 4 pm each day which would be 5 pm your time I think. Obama has put Van Jones in charge of environmental issues (Green Czar, one of 43 Czars now). Czars are only accountable to him, not congress. He is slowly installing a "shadow government" that can take over if we reach a state of chaos which may hurt his control of his party in congress. he appears to be steering us to that sort of situation. Van Jones was put in jail back during the Rodney King incident in L.A. . He claims to have gone to jail a "radical" and came out of jail a communist! He has bragged about it, and has very socialist (communist) ideas. Now Obama has made him one of his Czars! And that is just the tip of the iceberg of radicals advising this president. You need to understand what "the Chicago way" means.

They operate like the mafia in Chicago, and since I lived up there for two years I saw first hand how they keep people in line and continue to control most of local government. It is all who you know, not what you know up there. If you don't play ball, you don't get by. I now believe there may be a plan, that is being executed which Obama is trying to hide from everyone until he gets everything in place to turn this country into a communist type government. Why? because they want power to manipulate voters, if you get the majority on the dole, you can control how they vote and . That is what being socialists really means! And that is what many people are waking up to and why they are so angry. I think Obama maybe wants chaos because then the whole notion of capitalist type free country can be defeated and our freedom will be gone. People not understanding what is really going on risk waking up too late and the America we have known will be lost. Chicago's Mayor Daly learned from his father very well, how to put together a political machine that dominates everything. Now the Mayor has a tentacle all the way into the White House! Obama came out of the Chicago machine, had no practical experience in running anything outside of community organizing. Which is what he is doing now using the same techniques to try to organize the whole country so he can continue to dominate. It's really scary to me, and if we don't educate more people he will get away with it and our freedoms will go down the drain. All this is really making more and more people fighting mad and they are starting to rise up.
