Stupak's disgrace
For today’s reading, may I suggest to you a piece that those who know me to be pro-choice might find surprising: My excoriation of Bart Stupak for caving in on his pro-life drive for ObamaCare.

Some folks would disagree with you on the reform package allowing federal funds to pay for abortions or to support clinics that provide abortion. (the first is non-partisan and the others are adamantly pro-choice.)

They say he flip-flopped but was wrong about the bill ever allowing the federal government to fund abortions.

Mark,
Others believe strongly that the bill allowed federal funding.
But the point is that Stupak clearly believed it did and he had to know that an Executive Order is all but meaningless in this case.
