Survey about a woman president is likely about a particular woman

To the Editors:
While survey respondents gave the answer they are “supposed” to give about voting for a woman president, the truth which came out when asked how their friends or family would vote is most likely a reflection of their lack of support for Hillary Clinton rather than a lack of conviction about voting for a woman.
When there is only one realistically possible female Presidential candidate, it is not plausible that survey recipients are able to generalize about any woman running for the White House.
Given that fact, the results of this survey should worry Hillary even more than it seems at first glance. It’s not that voters do not want to vote for a woman. They just don’t want to vote for that woman.
