It amazes me how the govt. tries to control emissions in one state when you get the wind blowing the pollution effects into another. If you remember in summer 2007, the smoke from the California wildfires drifted across to Colorado for about 4 days. In a republican congress, I would eliminate the EPA, among several others. Using the Hick philosophy , if there isn't a regulatory agency, there can't be a pollution violation, right?

What do you think of the EPA plan to ban lead based ammunition Ross? Have you seen that one?

Hadn't seen it but not the least bit surprised. Just what "Blue Dog" Dems need right now, another reason for conservative Dems to vote Republican in November.
