Web widget: Obama countdown timer

Thanks to Keith for sending this along. It will be a permanent fixture of the blog in the right-hand column until our very own Manchurian Candidate has departed the White House.

Large chunks of "stimulus" money are scheduled to be spent just before the elections.
Accompanying this great largess, we will hear that in dire times like these, with the impending paradise in sight (well, they can see it) we would be foolish to return to the failed policies that got us into all this trouble in the first place.

And the American electorate will fall for it.

The right could, of course, put up the deficit chart that shows the spending binge in perspective, They could point out that the double digit unemployment didn't begin until 2009 (it will), and on and on, but being the Stupid party, they won't.

We have three governors who would make credible candidates for president, but SOP for the Republicans is to find some gray apparatchik whose turn has come around to be the party's candidate, and who is far enough to the left to earn an endorsement from the New York Times.

Palin, Pawlenty, or Jindal. We know which one the left fears the most.

So soon and yet so sick of this "borocken Obomination"!!!. Didn't taken long for the true
colors to show. No spine, no backbone, no guts. All talk, all me, me, me (us when its convenient). As the ole saying goes in my native (San Antonio, West Side):
"orale ese, ya basta con este pinche mayate, es puro colero and muy chapete. Son Safo!!" If you want a translation go to the westside or califas.
